My Diary First Quarter

Welcome the the first quarter of school for me. They were ten weeks of hell if you asked me, but any way.

The Marching Band season was definitely a fun one. With half the band freshmen, I can't WAIT till the spring break trip to Disney World. We did four shows, and I had at least one solo per show. For all those that don't know me yet, I play trumpet. Now we're starting Concert Band, and I'm third chair. Our director screwed up by having blind auditions which put all the people that got lucky on their auditions in front of me and this other kid, who should be the first two players. Plus now, the director says that I can, "move on to the next level," by spending money with two private teachers. But yet I'm still third.

Next, we're almost done with the fall play this year, which is "Cheaper by the Dozen". I play a cheerleader which is very ironic because everyday, I make a point to make fun of cheerleaders in some way. Actually, only the cheerleaders that think they are better than me, which is most of them, but back to the play. I have to do a cheer and everything for those three minutes that I'm on stage. Plus, with this last weekend, I've gone back to my techy roots by helping with the set again. These college students Jen, Mel, and Steve, who helped us last year, came back to help us again. And since I saw them, I started helping again. I worked about 23 hours this weekend on the set.

Also, my lovelife is the say as always, longing for the right one, always searching. I went out with another girl during this quarter. I went out with her at the end of last year, and it didn't work out, but we decided to give it another chance. It of course didn't work out again. She's wonderful, but just not for me. I still occasionally talk to Betsy, but since I told her that I still like her, she seems to not talk to me. But I guess that helps in some way. But in this point in my life, the possibilities are endless.

That's the quick overview of my quater. Later, I might add some details. I have lots of fun stories. If you want to know more about me, look back at the previous entries or E-mail me at [email protected].Thanks for listening.
